Even if you have never cooked a whole hog before, you can easily get results that would make a professional caterer jealous. Our heavily insulated grill roasts a whole pig so quickly that it seems like magic.

"Luau" is more than just a name for our grill. The tradition of cooking a whole pig in an earthen pit has been around for centuries. The insulation provided by the soil helps make the process more efficient. This type of cooking is typically referred to as "imu" or "kalua" roasting (Learn more here).

Sometimes bigger really is better! Our standard model is over 21"deep, over 45" long, and about 30" wide (all inside measurements of the actual cooking chamber). With our Luau Grill you can roast a whole hog weighing up to about 150 pounds (with a dressed weight up to about 90-100 pounds) or a variety of other meats. In one batch you can cook more than a dozen slabs of ribs, a half dozen whole turkeys, a dozen whole pork shoulders, a dozen whole salmon, or three dozen whole chickens. Try that with a regular grill!

The grill also rotates and locks in place so you don't have to wrestle with your grill when flipping your pig.

Stainless Handles & Oversize Tires enable you to easily move the grill like a wheelbarrow. The handles also give you a perfect spot to place the charcoal tray when you are working inside the grill.
